Honey Lemon on the Disney Wikia (see specifically "role in the film") and official Honey Lemon profile
As per headcanon, she is mixed Cuban and Japanese, her real name being Aiko RodrÃguez. (after her comics counterpart and her voice actress).
When she started at SFIT and made friends with Fred, he started calling her Honey Lemon after a Japanese podcast she liked to play while she was working.
Personality:
- Honey Lemon is described by at least one friend as "sweet as her namesake". She's a very kind and warmhearted person.
- Related to that, she is very compassionate and empathetic, feeling very strongly for people whether they're feeling good or bad. If she notices someone in a distressed/stressed/nervous/etc mood, she'll do her best to encourage and support them.
- She is a very brave person, though she wouldn't necessarily think it of herself. She's all but fearless when it comes to her work - the science stuff, not the hero stuff. The hero stuff was a little harder, but once she settled into it, she found that she really liked it - helping people with her chemistry, just in a different way than she does as a scientist. The adrenaline rush is similar to awesome sciencing, as well, so all in all, she really likes being a superhero.
- She's a pretty observant person, too - noticing how people are feeling, but also just what's going on around her.
- That probably ties into the fact that she is extremely intelligent. Like. Serious genius, actually breaking new scientific ground with chemistry and chemical engineering. While her chemical formulas that she uses with her chemballs are ones she already has discovered, her ability to punch them in from the periodic table display on the side of her bag in a matter of a second or two is seriously impressive, and speaks to how quickly her brain works.
- She is very bubbly and enthusiastic, which obscures the level of her intelligence from some people. She's full of excitement and enthusiasm for pretty much anything she does, especially her science.
- Her intelligence, love of chemistry, and enthusiastic nature kiiiiiiind of combine to make her sort of a very well-intentioned mad scientist. Seriously, she can get a little intense.
Abilities:
- actual groundbreaking chemist, with leet chemistry skillz. Especially with help from someone with a Lab Support upgrade and knowledge of science *coughTADASHIcough* she'll probably be able to function in the Lab/Med bay/whatever pretty well. Not medically, but chemist-ly. alchemically? Whatever.
- when she has the gear that Hiro built for her, she is a SUPERHERO! She uses chemistry to make... stuff. to fight evil with. It's pretty cool.
- other than that she's pretty much a normal, if extremely intelligent, person.
Augment Skillset: Civillian - cook

Oooo, look at this communicator!
[ Hello, fleet! Have an enthusiastic blonde latina grinning and waving at you ]
Hi! Wow, this is so great, isn't this just fascinating? And these augments, they put information into your brain, does that mean they cracked the code of how to create specific impulses and connections between your neurons? It's amazing, I wish I could take it out and poke at it.
I wonder if it's electrically or chemically based.
[ ponder ]
Oh! Right, I completely forgot, hiiii! I'm new around here, and I just got so distracted by all this new information in my head and this new place we're in! I really should go home if I can, I know, but think of the learning opportunities!
